Patrizia Rinaldi
Patrizia Rinaldi
Among the thousand faces of Naples, the one that Patrizia Rinaldi embodies is the Campi Flegrei, the location of Europe’s most dangerous craters, where she was born, lives and will never forget. She graduated in philosophy, specialising in theatrical writing, and curated literary projects at the Nisida Youth Prison before devoting herself exclusively to writing. Rinaldi has won a myriad of awards, including two Andersen Prizes, for best writer in 2016 and for the best graphic novel with “The Company of Solos” (Sinnos, 2017), she also successfully speaks to adults (the “Blanca: series edited by e/o and turned into a RAI series) in the consistently won challenge of continuing to resemble herself among different genres and audiences.
